February PTA News
Hello Parents,
We all survived the Polar Vortex! The good news is that spring is just around the corner.
Family fun night was another successful event. Thank you to all our wonderful teachers who stayed and helped chaperone with the PTA.
We will continue to sell popcorn and nachos on alternating Fridays. Please stay tuned to Mr. Awada’s end of the day announcements, the school blog, and our PTA facebook page for information about upcoming events and happenings. We can be found under “Oakman Elementary PTA.” Also, you can watch all our school videos on Mrs. Dakroub’s channel on You Tube (Nadia Dakroub).
We are currently in the process of planning another event in February which will include great music, and lots of dancing. We hope to see you there!
Parents please remember we are still collecting Box Tops to help raise money for Oakman. Send them in with your children to Mrs. Dakroub. This is a very easy way to help earn cash for our school. Children get to choose a token from the Treasure Box for every 20 Box Tops collected.
