The DEADLINE for Elementary School SOC is May 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 school year. Parents can obtain the SOC application at any school, Student Services office, or online. The updated School of Choice (SOC) application and guidelines are attached along with Boundary Line Exemption (BLE) Hardship application and guidelines. The BLE Hardship application needs to be filled out for SOC cases that have a hardship. The ‘language assistance statement’ is now part of the guidelines page, which should be on the backside of each of the applications.
