SMOKE ON THE GRILL TICKETS ARE ON SALE! $30 PER ADULT AND $10 PER CHILD.  PART OF THE SALES WILL BENEFIT OUR SCHOOL. LAST YEAR WE ACCEPTED A CHECK FOR OVER $400 DUE TO THE SUPPORT OF OUR FAMILIES. LET’S DO IT AGAIN!!

PLEASE SEE  AMGED OR ROSE HARB FOR TICKETS.

Information about PTA memberships will be coming home this week.  Each adult in the household  is asked to become a PTA member. Please return the forms and money to your child’s teacher. Of course, the class with the most PTA memberships will receive a pizza party!

 

Monday: All emergency cards and lunch forms to be returned to teacher.

Tuesday:

Wednesday: Late Start. School begins one hour later.

Community Bond Meeting at Park Place @ 6pm.  Oakman faculty and parents to attend.

Thursday:  School Store

Friday: POPCORN!

Welcome Back to School!

Oakman Elementary will re-open for the new school year tomorrow morning at 8:35 am.

All students please check the class lists posted on the windows of the playground along Orchard Street and line up accordingly.

Please remember to bring your completed Summer Packet with your name on it. Teachers will be collecting them throughout the week.

Here is another great opportunity to earn cash and school supplies for Oakman. It only takes a minute. All you have to do is LIKE Avery on Facebook and spin the wheel. You could end up winning cash for our school and you will also be entered into a drawing to win 1000 boxtops  and tons of Avery school supplies. You can spin the wheel once a day until September.  So far we have won about $700.  Thank you  to all our generous parents, teachers, and staff  🙂
