Wear your favorite team’s shirt to school tomorrow in celebrating college football weekend.

Our Oakman students and staff have been busy weeding and cleaning the flower beds around the school during the fall. We are preparing to plant some bulbs now to grow when spring arrives. Any donations are welcome to help the City Beautiful/ Ecology Club. Lets keep Oakman beautiful!

Oakman’s Ecology Club held its annual walk and bike to school day on October 2 , 2019 encouraging students to save energy, pollute less, and get into the habit of exercising by walking or biking. We had 141 students participate! Our next one is in May 2020. 

This Friday, there will be a popcorn sale. Popcorn is 50 cents a bag.

Bring your appetite and your change tomorrow after school. Oakman’s Robotic team is having a bake sale with many tasty treats to choose from.

National Walk/Bike to School Day is on Wednesday, October 2nd. Students are encouraged to walk to school on this day as a beneficial activity. Walking is great exercise and helps the environment. Our Ecology Club is supporting this event by providing a snack and recognition to those who walk or ride their bike to school.
