Greetings Oakman Parents,
Last week Oakman students enjoyed the Ned show assembly. Students learned about the “Power of Yet.” Students walked away understanding to Never give up (power of yet), Encourage others (spark courage in others) and Do your best (always be learning and growing. The power of yet is realizing that something’s are worth waiting for, and those things take work. It all takes a change in mindset. Students might for example say “I can’t tie my shoes.” But if we respond back and say “ You can’t tie your shoes YET” makes it possible! Without the word “yet” makes it impossible.

Friday-Monday: No school Mid-Winter Break!
