Dear Oakman Families and Students,
On behalf of the entire Oakman staff, I am thrilled to welcome you back to a new school year! As we embark on this fresh start, we are filled with enthusiasm and excitement to build positive relationships with each and every one of you.
Our goal is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging, encouraging curiosity, and inspiring excellence in all aspects of school life.
As your principal, I am eager to get to know each of you better and work together to make this year an unforgettable journey. Our dedicated staff has been busy preparing engaging lessons, activities, and experiences that will challenge and delight our students.

- 8/26/2024 First Day of School- Half day only dismissal @ 12:05
- 8/30/2024 No School Labor Day break
- 9/02/2024 No School Labor Day break
- 9/03/2024 First Early Release Tuesday – All students go home at 2:25 PM.
- 10/1/2024 No school, Professional development day
- 10/25/2024 Half-day elementary only, Dismissal at 12:25 PM.
- 11/05/2024 No School Election Day
- 11/12/2024 Parent-Teacher Conferences
- 11/14/2024 Parent-Teacher Conferences
- 11/27/2024 No School – Conference release day
- 11/28 & 11/29 No School – Thanksgiving break
- 12/23 – 01/03/2025 No School – Winter Break
Please ensure your child comes to school on time. First bell rings at 8:50. Instructional bell rings at 9:00. If your child comes in after 9:00, all doors will be locked except for door 1 and 5. Breakfast is served at 8:30. Dismissal is at 3:55.
